Support Circle

This is not a Reiki session story, but it is a story of universal light and healing.

I am an avid yoga practicer... yeah.. I go to yoga about 4 a times a week.  You get to know the people who practice next to you.  I have a friend who has really cool multi-colored yoga pants.  I don't know her well, but I will say hello to her and smile when I see her and of COURSE compliment her on her snazzy yoga pants.  :)

I saw her picture a few weeks back in the newspaper because her son had disappeared.  OH MY HEART!
Then a couple weeks later, I saw another article in the paper.  He had been found, but it was his lifeless body that was found.  OH my HEART!   I told my yoga instructor about it the following day.  She immediately added her to our beginning meditation.... and we cried.  That was last week.  We sent our support in her absence.

Today she was back in class.  She was back in the front row ready to sweat with us.  We didn't say anything to her at the beginning, but at the end... it was beautiful!  Our instructor talked about supporting each other and how our intentions support each other and we as a group send our light.  Right before she said that, I had a sharp irritation in my left foot... like someone had pinched me, but I knew no one was by my left foot and I didn't open my eyes... I thought it was something trying to get my attention... and then after the statement of support, I saw a wolf - eye to eye with me.... WOAH!  That wolf meant to be heard.  His right eye was nearly IN my right eye.

This is significant because I have 2 wolves that are my spirit animal helpers during Reiki treatments.  One female who roams about 3 feet from me and a male who's always at my right hip.  I know the left foot pinch, was my female wolf nipping me... and the wolf in my face, was the male... telling me to tell my yoga friend that she was also supported by a pack of wolves in the spirit world.... and I cry.... I cry because my yoga instructor is my brother wolf.  I cry because we have SO much support that we have no idea!  I cry because the spirits REALLY wanted her to know that!  I cry because when I went over to hug her after and told her about the wolves, she cried.  She felt the support too.  We're all so connected.

Thank you wolves!  Thank you for everything that supports us!  <3

Hello Chemo. You are my friend.

I had a wonderful experience with chemo in the room today.  I learned to change my view on chemo and to accept it as a vehicle for intense cleansing.  Here goes the story:

Reiki session requested on two consecutive days by a male patient receiving his first 2 chemo treatments after a re-occurrence of cancer in his body... the first time it was a rare form of adrenal cancer and this time it is lung cancer.  His nurse had recommended that he get the Reiki treatment along with the chemo to help with relaxation and pain.  LOVE HER even though I don't know her... :)

I talked to them for quite a while about energy medicine and they were very open and participated willingly in the conversation.  They told me they were Christian and that they felt the positive energy of prayer from their friends and loved ones.  They also equated the Holy Spirit with the intuition that I explained to them from the chakra system.  I really talked a while (I was on a roll) and they were receiving it very well.

I told them I was going to think of the chemo as a very big detox process... that would be filled with the energy funneled from the divine.  This is my new view of chemo so that it is seen in a positive light and as a partner in healing.

When I started the Reiki treatment I felt a very strong energy right away... even when I just closed my eyes and brought my hands to prayer at heart center.  I laid my hands on his head and realized that this is exactly what Jesus used to do... the laying of the hands... there are many stories in the bible where he cures with his hands.  And then I saw Jesus over my right shoulder dressed in white, with his right arm outstretched over my right arm... laying his hand over the chest of the patient.... WOW! Jesus didn't stay long, but he made his presence known.

Shortly after this while my hand was over his chest I saw swirling purple and at the edge of the purple, I could see part of a bug.  It was a drawing of a bug, I don't usually see actual bugs, I see outlines in black lines.  It was just half of a bug.  It wasn't moving much and I was barely sure that's what it was.  I asked it to leave and it did.  After I asked for it to leave I only saw swirling purple above his lungs.

As I went around his body, I saw a rocket at his right knee and at his feet I noticed that they were very stiff... so I told his wife later to give him some foot massages. :)  When my hands were at the bottom of his feet, I saw an image of a sunset in the northwoods.  At the left knee and ankle, I saw a firefly on a dock gently waving its wings.  At his left shoulder I felt a LOT of energy being sucked in.  My fingers were throbbing with the amount being transferred. Maybe he knew that it was the last spot for my hands before the treatment was over. :)

He was sleeping when I was done so I stepped outside with his wife to tell her what I saw.  I told her that I saw Jesus over my shoulder and she immediately started crying... To her, what could be any better???? He woke up not long after I told her that so we went back into his room and I told him about Jesus helping as well... and he also had tears in his eyes... The divine KNEW exactly what to show me so that it would have the most benefit to the patient and his wife.  How blessed am I to be able to receive these messages!  Thank you!  Thank you!

Third Eye Patient Treatment 2

Alas my third eye friend from this weekend is still in the hospital and was unable to sleep soundly so she requested another treatment.  This meant that I got to explain to her the words and the pictures I left for her the first time.  YAY!

She seemed quite lively for a patient with a VERY LOW hemoglobin level (6 or something... YIKES 12 is normal).  She showed me her incision and then where she had pain today which was internal where they had grafted some kind of support.  She wanted me to concentrate on this point.  Done!

Again I was gowned and gloved up because of the bacteria that she carried on her skin.  I wasn't worried... those bugs had already left and I saw no sign of any bugs during her treatment so their time around her is history. :)  I started at her head which was quite warm... one hand on her forehead and one over her heart.  I noticed that her forehead was all crunched up so I mentioned to her to relax her forehead and massaged it a little to help her do so... people love to keep the tension between the eyebrows.  They don't even know they do it.  Try watching someone watch a movie once... pure scrunched between the eyebrows. :)

She is a great receiver so she immediately started pulling energy.  I didn't see hardly any pictures during the session, but I felt a lot of energy moving into her.  Her knee was very powerful at receiving energy, more on the left side, but also on the right.  She had a lot of energy in her abdomen.  This is where she had her surgery.  I started up her chakras spinning.  I didn't really feel a lack of movement in them, but I thought I'd just give them a little push.

Her color was very purple... which is the color of the third eye.  She's still in the zone!  I talked to her about the third eye before the treatment to be sure she had some idea what it meant... like how to know when your intuition is talking and how to learn to trust in it.  I told her about some of the visions I have seen that have shown up later.  She seemed interested. :)

I left.  She was asleep.  Mission... ACCOMPLISHED!

Walking in Star Trails

Every morning after I take the bus into work, I walk through this section of my employer that houses the blood draw facilities.  Every morning there are many people waiting to get their blood taken for analysis.  They are looking for answers to something that is affecting their bodies.

I can imagine the feeling of waiting for this blood draw is ridden with anxiety.  You can feel the uneasiness in the air and since the place is always very full, the air is quite electric with anxiety.  Having to sit in that and wait also can't be a delightful experience.

SO.. I decided today that every day that I descend the open staircase to this level, I will envision sparkling trails of stars around everyone.... boosting their spirits and giving them strength.  Even as I walk I wrap those around me in the trail of stars.  It's moving and it's bright.  It brings an even brighter smile to my face.

It has to help.  I know it!  It's Pixie Magic!

Third Eye Opening

Second patient documented... oh so officially on my public blog .. :)

This woman was recovering from an 8 hour abdominal surgery.  She wasn't in the ICU, but she was in a step down from that... and was in a room that had INFECTION control posted outside.... which means ALL hospital workers must suit up in a gown and wear gloves, but family members can walk right in and skip the whole dress up part... we get all the fun! :)

This patient had never had an energy medicine treatment either.  She had read the material on it and one of her dear friends had recommended the treatment so she was trusting her on this one. :)  I still explained to her a little bit about the process.  For some reason, the idea that we have the ability to cure ourselves inside of us came into our conversation and I told her about some shamanic teachings I had learned.  I told her we have to learn how to listen to the messages that our body is sending us.

When I started I put my hands directly on her head again... forget the infection resistent bacteria on her skin.. I wanted to touch her and so I did!  She was a good receiver.When I put my hadn over her heart, I saw a flower made of wire.  Then I didn't see anything until her first ankle.  At her ankle I saw a single bug.  It was laying on its back.  It was more like a drawing than an real beetle, but it was a beetle and I knew it.  I asked the bug to move, to go back to the earth.  I told the bug that the earth is thawing and that there were be nice homes in the dirt.  I watched as it left... out the window... to the earth.

At the bottom of both feet one of her infusion pumps started blinking and sounding alarms.  I stopped, removed my gloves and gown and went to get the nurse.  She had a new bag all ready and had no problem hanging it and ending the noise.  The patient was asleep.  She didn't know it even happened.  Nice!  I got myself a new gown and gloves and continued.  At the second knee, I asked to see her animals.  She had a few feathered friends... an owl, a woodpecker and a pelican.  I also saw a pea shoot coming up from the ground and noted the swirl which resmembled a spiral.

And then I saw one of the cooler things ever in a Reiki session.... I saw a lot of purple around her body (this is the color of the third eye chakra (the seat of intuition).  Then I saw a green eye emerge from the purple right at the third eye center.  Her third eye was awakened!  This is what the divine energy had in the plan for her today.

She didn't wake up when I was done with the treatment.  She may have when a technician came in to take care of something, but I had left by then and was doing my notes.  I made her 2 pages of notes with pictures of bugs, an eye, and swirly pea sprouts.  I also explained to her about her third eye.... and how it had been awakened for her use!  I'm so blessed to be able to do this!  xx xx xx

Lily Tears

I have been volunteering in a hospital for about 6 months now.  I have been providing energy medicine for patients who request the treatment.  I decided I needed to document this.... and how easy with a blog... so I'm typing typing typing.  Alas, I missed the first 6 months of patients, but I will start from this weekend and go forward.

So Friday March 21, 2014 - I visited a post-op heart patient as she had been requesting all possible methods of healing and this option was presented to her... she had never had a Reiki (Universal Life Force Energy) treatment, but she was willing to try all that she could to recover.

I got to her room late on a Friday afternoon.  She was sitting in a chair and had been waiting for me.  She was determined to recover.  I explained to her about the treatment for a little bit and then we got all prepared with relaxing music and made sure all the nurses knew not to disturb us.  

And I started.  I had told her that the energy is best received when the patient is in a relaxed state and is able to receive fully.  I started with my hands on her head directly.  My hands were warm and she was receiving... she was receptive.  When I moved one of my hands to above her heart, I felt another hand move my hand over to the left side of her heart.  Some other being knew exactly the angle necessary for the proper funnelling.  COOL!

I didn't see any animals.  At her second hip, I saw 3 loaves of bread coming out of the oven and then a river and a very green mountain.  RIght about this time, I realized that she was crying... it was audible and I couldn't tell if she was in pain or if the tears were tears of joy.  Of course this brought me to tears.  I put both of my hands on her knees and squatted at her feet.  She continued to cry.  I saw a giant lily appear.  It was the size of her entire torso and was illuminated at the top.  The color was white with a dark orange border.  I opened my eyes after seeing this and looked at her face.  She had stopped crying and she looked beautiful.  About this time I also felt like I needed to say the three phrases I learned from the book 'Proof of Heaven'.  'You are loved.  You can do no wrong.  You have nothing to fear.'  And for some reason I felt like I needed to repeat 'You have nothing to fear.'.  I shed a tear or two in the process and let them fall on the sheet covering her feet... my tears have so much energy in them... I have to believe they can aid in the recovery of the patient.  Hush... don't tell the germ patrol! :)

When I was done with her treatment, she opened her eyes and I talked to her for a bit.  She started crying again and told me the reason she had been crying was because she had never felt that much kindness in her life.  CHILLS!  Oh my heart!  I also explained to her that many heart patients have had some major life events relating to love that have triggered their illness.  She started crying again, but didn't explain.  I told her in audible words the three phrases again from 'Proof of Heaven'.  She had received communion right before I started her treatment and she thought that maybe the communion had helped her feel that deep kindness.  I smiled at her and said 'It very well could have'.  

I did her numeric scores in the pain, fatigue, stress level, and nausea post-treatment and they really didn't improve, but there was NO DOUBT that she had an experience with love.  She knew this and I did too.  She asked how many times she could get the treatment... :)
